Use the Day View to see one day's worth of information at a time. Your day's activities are displayed in three different sections: the Agenda pane, the Task pane and the Notes pane. You can create and view Meetings that are scheduled for a particular day, the Tasks that you are working on and the day's Daily Notes and Day Events. You can also edit the Entries you own, change how your Agenda displays information or control the size of time slots in your Day View.
Use the single arrows in the second toolbar in order to move forward or backward one day, and the double arrows to move forward or backward one week. Click Today to come back to the current date's Day View, or click on the Date Control to choose another date that you would like to display.
Configure your Agenda View by going to Tools | Options | Agenda | Display. You can decide which hours, days and information will be shown in your Agenda. Meetings scheduled for a particular day appear in the corresponding time slots, color-coded according to the method you have chosen in Tools | Options | Meeting Colors. You can color-code your Meetings by Importance Level, Attendance Status or Ownership. Conflicting Meetings are shown side by side. The scheduled time of the Meeting and its title are displayed at the top of the Meeting.
To create a Meeting in the Day View, click the time slot where you wish to begin your Meeting and drag the pointer to the end time. The block of time you have selected is highlighted. You can write the Meeting's title directly into the block or double-click it to change to the New Meeting dialog box.
Double-click in this area to bring up the New Task dialog. If a Task has been completed, you can change its completion status to 100% by clicking on the checkbox beside its name. Double-click a Task to make further edits to it.
