Setting your Meetings' default Importance and Access levels

The options you choose in each section of this dialog box will be the defaults whenever you create a Meeting. Importance levels help you to classify the Entry, while Access levels determine if other users can view the Entry, or how much information they are allowed to see.

Setting default Reminders for your Meetings

Select whether you would like to receive default Reminders for your Meetings. Choose which type of Reminder you would like to receive, when you would like to receive it, and in which format.

You can receive different kinds of Reminders:

If you select Display upcoming for, the Reminders will appear in the Notes Pane of your Day or Week View. The Upcoming Reminder will appear in the Agenda on each day before the Event occurs, beginning on the date for which you first set it.

If you select Remind me, select the unit and measurement of time specifying when you would like to receive your Reminder. You must then select the type or types of Reminder that you would like to receive. There are three types of Reminders that you can select here: Popup, E-mail or Wireless. You can select to receive more than one of these three types of Reminders. This kind of Reminder is indicated by the Bell on the status bar and on the Meeting for which you have set the Reminder.

The default you set for Reminders applies not only to Meetings you create, but to Agenda Entries you receive from other users.
