UnCover

UnCover is an index to tables of contents and articles in more than
10,000 journals published since 1988.  You may search by author and/or
keywords.  It is also possible to browse the table of contents of
these journals.  Libraries in the Boston Library Consortium (BLC)
listed as holding a journal may not necessarily hold the issue you
seek.  It is also possible that a library may hold a journal title and
not be listed in UnCover.  For accurate holdings of BLC libraries,
transfer from UnCover to the BLC Union List of Serials by following
on-screen instructions and search by title.  UnCover also has a
service called Reveal, a table of contents alert service.  You may set
up a profile to list up to 100 journals' tables of contents to be sent
to you automatically via e-mail.  When UnCover prompts you for a
profile number, press Return, enter New, and follow on-screen
directions.
  
To connect to BLC Infosource, type add library;library at the Athena
prompt.  Then
     Select Boston Library Consortium
     User name:  MIT
     Select #1 Boston Library Consortium Infosource
     Select #5 (VT100 terminal type)
     Select #1 BLC Union List of Serials or 
     Select #2 BLC Uncover
     To Exit, follow on-screen directions 

Another way to reach Uncover is to type telnet database.carl.org at
the Athena prompt.
