Nathan Hawman runs this map shop located in the artisans district.
Hawman has one assistant, Horace Gladling, who makes copies (by
tracing) of Hawman's work.  Hawman's best selling maps are those of
Tabolport itself and many businesses pay Hawman to have their shops
highlighted (by color and/or name) on his city maps.  Hawman also
sells maps of the nearby countryside.  These maps are always in stock,
but as the distance away from Tabolport increases, the less likely
Hawman is to have a map.  Hawman also buys maps, both as a collector
and a desire to have new areas in stock.  The tracings of maps sell
fairly cheaply, however an original Hawman will be be much more
expensive, if it can be bought at all (not likely if its Hawman's only
map of an area).

Nathan Hawman is 62 years old, has sparse white hair on either side of
his balding head, and suffers from degraded vision.  He can often be
seen either drawing or inspecting a map with his eyes just inches from
the paper.  Hawman has a very good geographical knowledge of the
entire empire and some of the more skilled travelers leaving Tabolport
will often consult him for information.

Horace Gladling, age 24, is Hawman's assistant.  Gladling mainly just
reproduces Hawman's work but is beginning to do more originals.
Gladling's geographical knowledge is nowhere near that of Hawman's,
and people stopping by for information during periods of Hawman's
abscence, have occasionally been given faulty information.
