The guildhall consists of two parts, a normal building that serves as a front to the public, and a heavilly protected, hard-to-access castle which houses living quarters, libraries, and such. The public building is rather unexceptional, in fact it is nearly empty. Marked only by a pentagram carved into the outside door, it is monitored by one or two journeymen and contains little more than some transfer portals (as from Kurtz) that provide about the only ways into the main house. (Non-members who are not vouched- for are allowed in the public house, but not the main house) One notable protection is a continuous "monitor" which detects non-"marked" minds in the main house and alarms if any are found. (part of the "vouching" ceremony consists of a marking.) From: gt1020a%prism@gatech.edu
