This directory contains materials for my concordance of the King
James version of the Bible. A concordance is like a low-level index:
For each word that appears in the Bible, the concordance lists all the
vreses in which that word appears.

A sample entry from the concordance:

	Nineveh GEN 10:11-12 KI2 19:36 ISA 37:37 JON 1:2 3:2-7 4:11 NAH 1:1 2:8 3:7 ZEP 2:13 MAT 12:41

I don't know what reasons anyone (other than myself) might have for
wanting such a thing, but Bible concordances have been produced before,
so someone else must have wanted one before and I thought perhaps
someone else might want one now.

Files in this directory are:
-rw-r--r-- 1 mjd 829 May 4 11:53 canon-key
-rw-r--r-- 1 mjd 1291 May 4 11:56 conc.awk
-rw-r--r-- 1 mjd 1020416 May 4 11:53 concordance.Z
-rw-r--r-- 1 mjd 222 May 4 11:56 join.awk
-rw-r--r-- 1 mjd 1627107 May 4 11:55 kjv.tar.Z

canon-key is a list of abbreviations used in the concordance and
what they mean.

conc.awk and join.awk are awk source code files I used to fabricate
the concordance in the first place.

concordance.Z is the concordance. It is about 2.% megabytes long
when you uncompress it.

kjv.tar.Z is a unix `tar' file the original source text I used to
make the concordance. It contains the files `gen', `exo', `lev', and
the rest.

All these files are in the public domain.
