HOW TO MOVE AND REARRANGE ITEMS If you have authorized Provider access to a menu, you can reorder items on the menu by copying (Meta-C), pasting (Meta-V), and cutting (Meta-X) them. If your folder contains several folders and documents, use the Show Outline of Selected Folder command under the Look menu to outline the entire folder and then reorder items. To move an item on a menu to another position. 1. Select the item you wish to move 2. Copy the item by either selecting Copy from the Provider Menu or typing Meta-C. 3. Use the mouse or the arrow keys to move the highlight to the item that will come AFTER the new position and select Paste from the Provider Menu or type Meta-V. 4. Move the highlight BACK to the item you copied and select Cut from the menu or type Meta-X. Forinstance, to rearrange a list with three items so that item three is before item one: one ------> three two ------> one three ------> two Highlight "three" and issue the copy command (Meta-C). Move the highlight to "one" and issue the paste (Meta-V) command. Move the highlight to "three" at the BOTTOM of the list and issue the cut (Meta-X) command.
