By default packets sticks files in /tmp (ls /tmp and it should be obvious;
see gm.html on its --tmp flag) so as not to eat up quota.  That means stuff
doesn't usually appear here.

You can use the --ingame (-i) option to packets to have it use the
ingame directories, e.g. here, and ignore the tmp dirs; you can
also use -ir ("ingame read") or -iw ("ingame write") to switch between
the ingame dirs and the tmp dirs.  See printing-packets.html under --ingame.
