Beanie Babies Invade the Land of Dead Fads % Each PC got one of these two documents to supplement the Standard Rules: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules for Beanie Babies Gamespace is: Patrol guns are the only weapon in game. They physrep thrown rocks. Start with 7 darts, and please help sweep gamespace at the end. It's okay to pick up and use dropped darts. If you go to 0HP, take off your headband and go back to your start location, the 36 basement. Everyone living has a headband. Headband colors designate species, not team. Beanies only know what yellow and black mean--black is a non-sentient, vicious raving beanie, yellow is a sentient beanie. Greek letter rooms have a piece of paper with the room number and a greek letter on the chalkboard. You start game with: -the beanie rules -the basic beanie packet -a patrol gun -7 darts -wearing a black headband -a yellow headband in your pocket. You want to ogg. You know how to do it. You want to evolve. Your packet has clues on how to do it. Your vocabulary is limited by your level of evolution. See your packet for details. This is just a game, have fun and respect other players. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules for Sentient Characters Scenario: You are a sentient fad toy in the Land of Dead Fads. You arrived in an ogg wave as your fad died years ago and survived long enough to become sentient. Survival here is difficult, but you're comfortable. The political balance between your small tribe and others is generally stable, except when a new wave of dead fads arrives. The Beanie Babies just arrived. Greek letter rooms: Rooms with a piece of paper with a greek letter and the room number on the blackboard are desirable land. You heal 1 HP for every 10 minutes you spend in a greek letter room held by your team or current allies. You cannot go above your maximum hit points. Hit points: If you go to 0HP, sit or lie down on the floor out of the way of the combat. You are unconscious for 5 minutes and cannot see or hear anything. Keep your headband on. If no one killing blows you successfully, in 5 minutes you wake up with 1HP. Darts do 1HP of damage. Staying in a greek letter room held by your team or current allies heals 1HP every 10 minutes. You cannot go above your max HP. Mechanics: Dart Guns: Dart guns mechanic throwing a rock. A dart does 1HP of damage. Start game with 7 darts. Darts on the ground may be picked up freely. Please help sweep gamespace at the end. Ride pony: My little ponies can take a single rider. The pony can voluntarily carry anyone in ZOC if they're willing. A pony wearing a bridle must carry anyone in ZOC who wants to ride. A bridle is mechaniced by a headband with one end held by a pony and the other end held by the rider. Ponies cannot remove bridles. All other sentients can remove a bridle by standing within ZOC and saying "I remove the bridle 1, I remove the bridle 2, I remove the bridle 3." Any sentient can stop this by standing in ZOC and saying "Stop." A pony wearing a bridle must always have the bridle headband held in one hand and visible. killing blow: Uncoscious sentients can be killed with a killing blow. Stand in ZOC and say "killing blow 1, killing blow 2, killing blow 3." Any sentient can stop this by standing in ZOC and saying "Stop." If you die by killing blow, remove your headband and open your death packet. Headbands indicate species, not team. ****** This is just a game, respect other players, don't take actions you wouldn't in real life. Don't hurt other players, and if a confrontation gets out of hand, go ahead and walk out of the situation. We're here to have fun and play. ****** Game end conditions: Game will end as soon as any of the following happen: 1. All starting sentients die. 2. All plots resolve and all beanies evolve into sentients. 3. All plots resolve and the beanies fight among themselves. 4.
