The network service provider is responsible for the end-to-end
operation of the campus network including the backbone infrastructure
and external connectivity. The network service provider handles
escalated connectivity problems from the facility analyst group. With
respect to the installation process the network service provider
supplies and configures equipment serving backbone uplinks.
