Defining Proxy Rules

If you are using proxies, you define the proxy rules by using the packet filtering Rule Definition dialog.

Defining proxy rules requires the following operations:

1. Displaying the packet filtering Rule Definition dialog. You can access this dialog from the Packet Filtering tab on the Policy Edit page.
2. Completing the fields in the Rule Definition dialog. When you select Allow or Deny from the Action combo box, the Proxy menu is displayed.
3. Selecting the type of proxy you want to define. Additional menus specific to that proxy are displayed.
4. Using the proxy menus to set up rules for the proxy.
