Setting Up High Availability

Setting Up High Availability (HA) requires the following operations:

1. Installing SunScreen software on the Primary Screen.
2. Installing SunScreen software on the Secondary Screen.
3. Initializing the HA Primary Screen. Initialize the HA Primary on the Policies List page using the Initialize HA button.
4. Adding the Secondary Screen to the Primary Screen .

Notes:

• The type of interfaces must be the same on all the machines in the HA group.
• This interface must be dedicated on each machine in the HA group with a dedicated network connection.
• For reasons of security, the HA network should not be connected to any other network.
• The HA Primary Screen is always the Screen you administer whether it is the active or passive Screen.
