Activating a Policy

Activating a Policy is required for a security Policy to take effect. The Administration GUI provides two ways for you to activate a Policy.

Using the Policy Edit page.
Using the Policies List page.

Activating a Policy from the Policy Edit page

To activate a newly edited Policy from the Policy Edit page:

Choose Save Changes. You are prompted to activate the Policy.
Choose Yes to activate the Policy.

Activating a Policy from the Policies List page

To Activate a Policy from the Policies List page:

Select a Policy from the list of Policy names.
Choose the Activate button.
