SunScreen[TM] 3.1 is a security solution that lets you filter and control your network traffic. The Screen is the firewall responsible for screening packets. The Administration Station is used to define rules and to administer the Screen. You can install these two components in a variety of different management scenarios.
Configure your SunScreen firewall to control access to a network by creating a Policy. A Policy is the set of rules which governs data communication between systems. When you first install the SunScreen software, there is one policy only named "Initial".
Use the Administrative graphical user interface (GUI) pages to create and edit policies and to view information about logging and traffic.
