Password Structure

Platform GUI Passwords, may contain, between 4-16 characters including the following: the alphanumeric characters 'a' through 'z', 'A' through 'Z' and '0' through '9' and the special characters (-) dash, (_) underscore and (.) period

System Passwords

There are three kinds of passwords:

1. The admin user GUI account

2. The central registration password (you need this password to register a new node)

3. Each node ini_modifier/GUI password

Password Specifications

• The admin user password can be changed from: Zend Central |Preferences.

• The change_gui_password.sh script changes the admin account and the Zend Central registration password.

• If you have a node/s on the central machine, than 2+3 are  the same.

• If you install node only than will change_gui_password.sh not be installed and you will not be able to change the ini_modifier password. It will be permanently set to be the same as the central registration password at the time of the registration.
