 <p><b>Add/ Edit a Group</b></p>
Administrator-level can add/edit groups and to define their access permissions.<br><br>

To add/edit a Group, select the preferences and permissions you wish to assign to the Group. The following is a list of the group preferences and their descriptions:<br><br>

Group Name - Enter a name for the New Group.<br><br>
Delete an Event - Allows users belonging to group to Delete an event from the Event Report screen.<br><br>
Ignore an Event - Allows users belonging to group to Ignore an event from the Event Report screen.<br><br>
Close an Event - Allows users belonging to group to Close an event from the Event Report screen.<br><br>
See the event internal data in the event report - Allows users belonging to group to view the event internal data (variables, included files) from the Event Report screen.<br><br>
See the event source code in the event report - Allows users belonging to group to view the event source code in the Event Reports embedded viewer.<br><br>
Use the Zend Studio integration in the event report - Allows users belonging to group to view the event source code in Zend Studio.<br><br>
Change in Zend Platform  Settings (in the Preferences) - Allows users belonging to group to enter changes in the Platform Settings seciton of Preferences.<br><br>
Configure and change the Alert Rules - Allows users belonging to group to configure and change  Alert Rules from the Configure Alert Rules screen. Configure Alert Rules will be active for users with this level of permission.<br><br>
Configure and change the PHP settings - Allows users belonging to group to configure and change PHP settings from the Configure PHP Settings screen. Configure PHP Settings will be active for users with this level of permission.<br><br>
Go into the Performance section of nodes - Allows users belonging to group to access the Performance tab for nodes. The Performance tab will be active only for users with this level of permission.<br><br>
Go in the Java Bridge section of nodes - Allows users belonging to group to access the Java Bridge tab for nodes. The Java Bridge tab will be active only for users with this level of permission.<br><br>
Configure and change the action Types - Allows users belonging to group to configure and change  Action Types from the Define Action Types screen. Define Action Types will be active only for users with this level of permission.<br><br>
Configure and change the Action Rules - Allows users belonging to group to configure and change  Action Rules from the Define Action Rules screen. Define Action Rules  will be active only for users with this level of permission.<br><br>
Add/Change user and groups settings - Allows users belonging to group to add and change user and groups settings from the Zend Central User Management tab. Specific User Management functions will be active only for users with this level of permission.<br><br>

Remember to click Save to create a Group in the database and register its settings.
