Server/Group Management

Zend Platform manages clusters to make them available and manageable from a single location the Central Server. Clusters are identified as a single unit for event report purposes. However, each node in the cluster can be individually accessed from the Central Server.
To add servers first run the Zend Platform Node Installation Process (Read the Installation Guide for details on Node installation).

Zend Platform automatically identifies registered servers and displays them in the Manage Servers screen. All Server information is stored in the Central Servers Database

Manage Groups Tab

Create and define groups of servers.

Groups are created for two distinct purposes:
- To aggregate Events across the nodes
- To enable configurations to be automatically applied to other servers belonging to the same group (using Clone Configurations).

Select aggregated check box indicates that Event information should be aggregated for the nodes in the group (saves time and resources)

Note:
Groups should only be aggregated when the PHP application identical on all the servers in the group.

Once a group is created it will appear in the Manage Servers tab and the servers can be configured and grouped.

Remove - removes the server from the database (unregistered)

Note:
To add a Removed server you can re-register by going to the server and running: <install dir>/bin/register_node.sh

Once the servers have been configured and grouped, Alert settings can be defined
