Please join us on Tuesday, December 12, from 3-5 pm for the next IS
Forum.

Refreshments will be available in the lobby at the start of the Forum.

After a few brief announcements, Professor Dick Yue, Associate Dean of
Engineering, will discuss work of a recent discovery project on lifelong
learning. The major theme of this work is new educational programs that
will provide new learning opportunities for our alumni and other
professionals. A second significant theme is the information technology
work that needs to be done in order for the Institute to deliver the
programs that are envisioned.

Dick's presentation will provide us with an initial look at the new
products and services that we will be called upon to deliver.

After Professor Yue's presentation and a question and answer period,
we will have time for a couple of short reports and for a general
Q&A before we adjourn.

I look forward to seeing you Tuesday afternoon....................jim

P.S. Also, please put the IS Christmas Party on your calendar,
Wednesday afternoon at the University Park Hotel.
