Wow! I can honestly say that I have never seen anyone's yard (yes,
this is their yard) with a more eclectic collection of stuff. Just
for starters she had everything from military equipment, 100+ antique
farm implements, a Sicorsky helicopter, a missle, a pile of probably
150 Jap bikes, a flatbed with 25 or so Cushmans to about 50+
airplanes in various states of disrepair to easilly over 300 cars.
There were even old bombs leaning up against the shed! They gave me a
vintage Coke machine in the deal too.

Once I get the Amphi (1962) home I will be disassembling her. No
drive train and most of the interior parts are gone. The engine
cover, one door and hood are nothing short of perfect! The passenger
side is squished. Take a look at the pics in the file section.

John

I really enjoyed the photos you put in the files, I was hoping to
find the Cushmans and the Coke machine to see what they looked like.
Looks like the Amphi may have some good parts as well. If you have
any more shots, please post them.
Marty

The Coke machine is a Cavalier (I think), 1973 vintage. 10oz bottles
through a door on the left. The last price was 35 cents ! It is
similar to http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?
ViewItem&item=1119440664&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=984359374&indexURL=

Next time I go out there, I'll get some pics of the Cushmans for ya.

They had a huge fire a year ago, there were 150 Harleys in the hangar
when it went up. OUCH! That hurt.

John

The Bilgemaster has put together a nice information page about the Amphicar
Club Swim In located in Celina, Ohio late July. Included on the page is a
Pre-Registration Form that you can fill out. If you get a chance, stop by
and give it a look at www.amphicar.com Just follow the "Celina 2001"
link.

See you in "Celina rhymes with Carolina"!

Marc Schlemmer.
