I've built two different designs, each of which can stay balanced for
typically 6 seconds or do before giving up and dying spectacularly 
(one of these was nearly as tall as I am). I'm glad you extended the
contest - I still have hopes of getting something to last the full 30
seconds with a bit more effort.
