So, my homeowner's insurance claim check just arrived for the water
damage problem I mentioned a couple of weeks ago.

It's made out to "<me> & <mortgage company>".

What do I need to do with it to get it deposited? I'm guessing I
can't just sign it & deposit it, but it's Saturday, so no one is open
for me to call.

The check is also for significantly less than the quote that the
contractor gave me earlier this week, even taking my deductible into
account. Do I have any recourse for that, or should I just count
myself lucky for what I did get?

Thanks!
Linda
