.... to all those who dashed out and bought a copy of LEMMINGS, but
are tired of having to insert the damn key-disk every tenth time you
boot the program up... GOOD NEWS.
 
To unprotect the game, use the DOS program ATTRIB...
 
and type:
ATTRIB -H C:\LEMMINGS\RUSSELL.DAT
ATTRIB +R C:\LEMMINGS\RUSSELL.DAT
 
RUSSELL.DAT is a hidden file in your lemmings subdir that is updated
each time you boot up the game. When it is updated the 10th time,
the program searches for the key disk... if you make it READ-ONLY
before it hits #10, then it can never be updated, and will never ask
for the key disk... Pretty nifty, huh?
