I just received a copy of the Kodak Photo CD Access CD ROM. I thought I might have trouble reading it, so I downloaded the file "sbpcdxa.zip" from cdrom.com. This contains the XA-support driver for the Sound Blaster Pro CD ROM drive that replaces sbpcd.sys. I first tried to access the CD ROM without installing the new driver. It didn't work at all. The new driver is only slightly larger than the one it replaces. Once I edited config.sys, changing sbpcd.sys to sbpcdxa.sys and rebooted, I was able to access the Kodak CD ROM. I installed the Kodak software from the CD and was able to access any and all of the 24 images, and manipulate them with the included software. Corel Mosaic also worked but seemed to have less functionality than the Kodak software. I could see no advantage to using Mosaic. Has anyone else had any experience with this? Will this work for single-session photo CDs only? Duane Moore T & M Service Engineering 78-649 Tektronix, Inc. PO Box 500 Beaverton, OR 97077 (503) 627-6589 duanem@tekig5.PEN.TEK.COM
