The story line followed two tracks which turned out to be one - Lois was conv
convinced that something woudl go wrong before the wedding, so Perry gave her
a "make work" assignment about the theft of some rare tripical frogs.
Of course, it wasn't such a small story - Tony Curtis played a scientist who 
uses the DNA of the frogs to make clones.  He replaced the National Security
Advisor and the president with his clones.  The way to spot as clone is:
1) they heal in seconds
2) they need an enzyme that only the origional frog can produce, so they need
to eat a (live) frog occasionally.
The clone's forst act as president was to pardon Lex Luthor, so he's loose again.
Meanwhile, someone has been sending dead flowers and smashed wedding cakes to
Lois.  
To sum things up - Lex was behinds it all.  At the end of the wpisode, Lois
is gone, Clark married a clone (Perry was the minister) and Lex is loose.
Clark doesn't know it's a clone yet.
