Subject: Aaaarrrrrrggghhhhh!!!!! kdb5_create
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: Text/Plain

I'm obviously doing something wrong, when I do this;

bones# ./kdb5_create

I get this back from the system;

ld.so.1: ./kdb5_create: warning: /usr/4lib/libc.so.1.8 has older revision than e
xpected 9

Initializing database '/krb5/principal' for realm 'KERBY.WUSTL.EDU',
master key name 'K/M@KERBY.WUSTL.EDU'
You will be prompted for the database Master Password.
It is important that you NOT FORGET this password.
kdb5_create: Invalid argument while reading master key

My kdb5.conf file looks like this;

[libdefaults]
        default_realm = KERBY.WUSTL.EDU

[realms]
        KERBY.WUSTL.EDU = {
                kdc = bones.wustl.edu
                admin_server = bones.wustl.edu
                default_domain = WUSTL.EDU
        }

[domain_realm]
        bones.wustl.edu = KERBY.WUSTL.EDU

I know, these are cute-z names, but we just want it to run once without
complaint for now. If anyone can see a hole in this, _please_ let me know what
it is.
We've followed our docs as closely as we can, and were just not making
head-way. Thanx.

 Rich.
