Subject: What happened to the stove?
Reply-To: jmaessen@MIT.EDU

Got home yesterday to find that the stove had been shut off... Seeing
the CO detector unplugged, my best guess is that you came home to hear
it going off and called, and that the stove was the source of the
problem (and not the heating). Yes?

Any idea what we should be doing about it? (Did you call Bob, do the
pilots just need cleaning, or what?) I kind of _like_ being able to
boil water (tho I can do without for a couple of days). I'll be home
tomorrow morning, and can be home Thurs and Fri mornings, so if
something needs doing I can potentially deal with it if I know what to
do!

Thanks for feeding the cat while I was gone. She definitely seems to
appreciate it...

Oh, what're you doing over Christmas? I've sort've been assuming you
might disappear for a few days, but it's coming time when I need to
make concrete plans (cancel the paper, give someone [probably Andrea
again] the key so the cat gets fed and the mail gets brought in, that
sort of thing). Looks like I'll be gone sometime after the 19th (the
later the better given my family, but hey) and back in time to go
somewhere the evening of the 30th. But that's likely to shrink, and I
can tweak it based on when (if?) you're planning on disappearing.
