I have got the JDK working with the appletviewer and javac (Thanks
Randy!). Netscape 2.0b3 will not load an applet when the html file is
opened locally ("Applet can't start: applet not initalized"). I moved the
html and class file to a real httpd server and the applet worked when the
real url was hit.

Is this a known problem and/or is there a workaround?
Is this documented someplace?

P.
