thanks for the info!  I did get to BO in the end, but for less
than a day.  Kurzweil is making interested noises so it's possible
I'll be back within the next couple months. Life? what's that? (-:
Actually one good thing about travelling is that friends on both
continents make an effort to coordinate; it's been quite social
since I've been back.
