All of our work in the sound driver is considered ALPHA and not many have
contributed to check out the sound driver for such things like the SB, etc...
So to even think about committing the sound driver to the tree is a 
dream. 

Yes there is a plan to phase in the current ALPHA sound driver to FreeBSD.
