What its doing is that when I run ./kprop axis.scu.edu.au on the server, the mesg thats returned is :-- ./kprop: ASN.1 structure is missing a required field while encoding database siz e Memory fault Ive followed the notes on setting up a slave server & have the files /krb5/slave_datatrans /krb5/slave_datatrans.dump_ok ready to be picked up. I can see a ticket is requested for the transfer & by running kprod on the slave machine on the command line via ./kpropd -dS I see the request comming in to the slave ie running /usr/local/kerberos/krb5/sbin/kpropd -dSp /usr/local/kerberos/krb5/admin/kdb5_edit Returns.... usr/local/kerberos/krb5/sbin/kpropd: attempting to rebind socket with SO_REUSEA DDR Connection from cyclops.scu.edu.au krb5_recvauth(4, kprop5_01, host/axis.scu.edu.au@SCU.EDU.AU, ...) authenticated client: host/cyclops.scu.edu.au@SCU.EDU.AU /usr/local/kerberos/krb5/sbin/kpropd: Software caused connection abort while rea ding size of database from client # Can anyone sugest what the problem could be or even where to look.
