Clemens; Movie and Television Cinematographer Publication Date: Friday November 6, 1992 BYLINE: George T. Clemens, 90, a film and television cinematographer whose filming of the old "Twilight Zone" series brought him an Emmy in the 1960-61 season and three additional nominations for TV's highest award. Clemens came to films in 1923 and worked with such motion picture stars as Claudette Colbert, Joan Bennett, John Wayne, Grace Kelly and Mae West. He became known as a woman's photographer who took still photos of his subjects and studied them assiduously before placing them before the motion picture camera.
