Milk Prices--Last week's Newsbites column gave the prices of
Broguiere's, the brand of milk sold in glass bottles, as 68 cents a quart
and $1.22 a gallon. The latter price was for a half-gallon. In any case,
the prices given are only available at the dairy itself, in Montebello.
The prices at Southland retail markets that carry Broguiere's, such as
Mayfair, are higher.
