The state Department of Motor Vehicles will close its Alhambra
office Nov. 25 in a move to save about $220,000 annually.

   Employees will be transferred to other DMV facilities.

   Three DMV offices are within a 10-mile radius of the Alhambra office,
which did not offer driving tests. They are at 3529 N. Mission Road in
the Lincoln Park area of Los Angeles; 424 N. Wilcox Ave. in Montebello,
and 49 S. Rosemead Blvd. in Pasadena.
