In an otherwise allegorical speech, his first since returning home in September from surgery that removed a kidney, the 56-year-old monarch addressed the issue of his health directly. "I find it incumbent on me to tell you that I will have to travel, at intervals determined by my physicians and beginning shortly after a month from now, to the center where I was treated," he said in an address to the nation.
