Matamoros is across the border from Brownsville, Tex. Members of an opposition coalition defeated by the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in Tamaulipas state elections held Sunday set the office on fire with a Molotov cocktail, destroying ballot boxes held there, the agency said. No injuries were reported. The PRI claimed victory in Sunday's gubernatorial, municipal and state legislative elections.
