Actually, I'm rather pleased. Here in Costa Mesa we play $25 a month for basic cable service. I would have to pay an additional $12 a month for SportsChannel. I strongly dislike baseball, so that leaves me with Clipper games on SportsChannel, which I want to see, but not for an extra $12 a month. Maybe if they go to the finals I'd start to miss having the service. But maybe I'd be content, as at present, with reading about the games in The Times. DAVID G.
