In May, the Heat offered $8 million over five years. The 6-foot-9 forward put the offer on hold while he explored restricted free agency, but didn't get any lucrative offers. Long averaged 14.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.7 steals while appearing in all 82 regular-season games last year.
