Statehood? Nothing. I feel very privileged to live in the "Federal City." We who reside in the District are "special" that way. Did you notice that during the Nov. 3 televised presidential election returns, all tabulations are announced as "X number of states and the District of Columbia"? What a great feeling! It's fun being singled out. I like being "different." If you want to live in a state, there are 50 outside Washington to choose from. BARBARA E.
