The second-biggest moneymaker was Robert Redford's "A River Runs Through It," a drama about fly-fishing and family. It earned $4.3 million in its first weekend of wide release. The early holiday film season starts in earnest Friday, with the release of "Passenger 57" starring Wesley Snipes, and "Jennifer Eight" with Andy Garcia. Here are the estimated top ticket sales Friday through Sunday, according to Exhibitor Relations, with distributor, weekend gross, number of theater locations, average per location, total gross and number of weeks in release. Figures are based on actual receipts and projections where actual figures were not available. One location can include several screens in multiplex theaters; studios generally do not disclose the true number of screens. 1.
