I went there with my father recently, and we went to Cairo, Luxor and Alexandria. We were there for eight days. There are many fascinating things to see in Egypt. I liked the Pyramids the best. They are more than 4,000 years old and are in Giza, close to Cairo. We went inside the Great Pyramid and saw the King's and Queen's Chambers, which are burial rooms. To get there you have to go through very narrow stone passageways. The roof is very low, and most adults have to crouch, but I could stand up. We also saw the Sphinx, which was smaller than I thought it would be. Later we went to a museum where we saw lots of painted mummy cases. We also went to a papyrus factory, where I got a paper with my name written in hieroglyphics (ancient Egyptian picture language). I like Luxor the best. Our hotel had two swimming pools, a swim-up snack bar and tennis courts. We saw the temples at Luxor and Karnak and went to the Valley of the Kings. I also got to drive the ferry boat when we crossed the Nile River. Reviewed By Victoria Marie Brown, Age 10, Holy Angels School, Hamilton Township, N.J.
