S=NEW STORY Men won't be charged in informant's murder Two men arrested in connection with the slaying of a police informant will not be charged with his murder, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's office said yesterday. Mark Liedl said prosecutors decided there was "insufficient evidence" to charge Antone Richard White, 20, and Ronald Recardo Hughes, 19, in the Oct. 6 murder of Arvell Williams, 24. Mr. Williams was helping police investigate the activities of a drug gang in LeDroit Park. Mr. White is said to be the gang's leader and the police believe he ordered a Nov. 3 triple slaying in LeDroit Park and may be responsible for a number of other murders. Mr. Liedl said an investigation into the "drug and related criminal activity" of the men is continuing. Both men are being held on other charges.
