Robert Goldberg, 47, and his alleged mistress, Jessica Kim, 21, face charges of attempted murder, conspiracy and criminal solicitation in Manhattan Supreme Court. The indictment said Mr. Goldberg wanted his wife killed "because he was sick of her and because she would not give him a divorce." It added that he wanted his wife's female friend murdered to deflect suspicion from himself and onto people in the friend's life. The murder-for-hire scheme was foiled, according to the district attorney, when the private investigators the couple hired to arrange for a hit man notified authorities. S=NEW STORY Joan Kennedy publishes music book BOSTON - Inspired by Leonard Bernstein, Joan Kennedy has published a book to help youngsters learn about classical music. "If you start children when they're very young, then when they're 10 years old they'll have Madonna, but they'll also have Mozart," the former wife of Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Kennedy said Tuesday. Mrs. Kennedy, who taught music after getting a master's degree in education at Lesley College in 1981, signed copies of her book, "The Joy of Classical Music," at a Boston store.
