The two men commandeered the truck about 9:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of K Street NW, Metropolitan Police said. The truck was abandoned a short time later in the 1300 block of Delaware Avenue SW. The police found the driver, wearing only his underwear, locked in the back of the truck. The driver was unharmed and there was no damage to the truck, the police said. They were still looking for the two men late yesterday. S=NEW STORY LaRouche running mate arrested in protest The running mate of perennial presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche was arrested yesterday at a demonstration protesting a statue of Albert Pike near the D.C. District Court building. James Bevel, 36, LaRouche's vice presidential running mate, and Anton Chatkin, 49, were arrested after they climbed up on the statue at Third and D streets NW and refused to come down.
