 The following firms and individuals recently filed with the U.S.
Bankruptcy Court's local clerk of court offices.

 Under Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy code, a company is
protected from claims by creditors while it attempts to reorgan-
ize its finances under a plan approved by the court.  In a
Chapter 7 liquidation, a court trustee sells assets to pay credi-
tors' claims. The company then ceases operations.

Maryland District<Rockville Court<L & M Computer Services Inc.,
also doing business as the Executive Center, of 14 West Patrick
St., Frederick, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation Nov. 18. The com-
puter service company listed assets as $3,067 and liabilities as
$138,653.

 APM Enterprises Inc., also doing business as Party Mania, of
11520-H Rockville Pike, Rockville, filed for Chapter 7 liquida-
tion Nov. 17.  The retailer of party goods listed assets as
$4,000 and liabilities as $10,973.

Mr. Hunan Inc. of 7429 Greenbelt Rd., Greenbelt, filed for
Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 13. The restaurant listed assets
as $150,000 and liabilities as $251,283.

 GKG Enterprises Inc., also doing business as Amber Meadows
Liquors, of 197 C Thomas Johnson Dr., Frederick, filed for
Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 13. The retail liquor store listed
assets as $100,00 and liabilities as $220,143.

 Hobe Systems Inc., also known as James M. Hobart Co., of 10025
East Franklin Ave., Glenn Dale, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation
Nov. 12. The construction company listed no assets and liabili-
ties as $190,758.

 R.S. Data Systems Inc. of 9416 Curran Rd., Silver Spring, filed
for Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 12. The engineering and com-
puter company listed assets as unknown and liabilities as
$761,583.

 Financial Lending Corp. of 4919 Hampden Lane, Bethesda, filed
for Chapter 11 reorganization Nov.  10. The banking company list-
ed assets and liabilities each as between $1 million and
$9,999,000.

 FSP Communications Corp. of 8917 Shady Grove Ct., Gaithersburg,
filed for Chapter 7 liquidation Nov. 10. The video store listed
assets as $120 and liabilities as $105,200.

 Hydro Associates Limited Partnership of 1725 De Sales St. NW was
the subject of an involuntary Chapter 11 reorganization filed
Nov. 9. The following individuals alleged claims against the
operator of a 180-room hotel: D.F. Antonelli Jr. of Potomac; and
Lee Antonelli of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

 Brock Steel Company of P.O. Box 720, 220 West King St., Cumber-
land, filed for Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 9. The company
listed assets as $2,155,000 and liabilities as $3,320,000.  Mono-
grams of Maryland Inc. of Route 1, Box 231, Bryantown, filed for
Chapter 7 liquidation Nov. 9. The embroidery retailer and
wholesaler listed assets as $8,049 and liabilities as $332,763.

 California Dreaming Inc., also doing business as Strawberry
Fields and French Quarter Antiques, of 8801 Clifford Ave., Chevy
Chase, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation Nov. 6. The retailer of
antiques and gifts listed assets as $2,025 and liabilities as
$63,019.  Eastern Virginia District<Alexandria Division<LCT
Development and Construction Inc. of 2592 Dynasty Loop Dr., Wood-
bridge, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation Nov. 18. The construction
company listed assets as $2,200 and liabilities as $23,319.

 Building Service Specialists Inc. of 2207 Beacon Lane, Falls
Church, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation Nov. 16. The business
listed assets as zero and liabilities as $243,863.

 Tenth and Highland Corp. of 3100 10th St., Arlington, filed for
Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 10. The commercial property rental
business listed assets as $910,000 and liabilities as $570,000.

M&W Petersburg Ltd. Partnership of 12801 Darby Brooke Ct., Wood-
bridge, filed for Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 9. The hotel
owner and operator listed assets as $98,117 and liabilities as
$3,804,459.

 Forrester Landscaping Inc. of 7627-E Fullerton Rd., Springfield,
filed for Chapter 7 liquidation Nov. 9. The landscaping business
listed assets as $5,365 and liabilities as $122,790.

 American Coastal Industries Inc. of 211 Wilson Blvd., Arlington,
was the subject of an involuntary Chapter 7 liquidation filed
Nov. 7. The following firms alleged claims against the steel
manufacturer: Trism Specialized Carriers Inc., with a claim of
$108,436; Southern Fabricators Inc., with a claim of $603,798;
and MWJ Steel Division, with a claim of $539,859.

 White Star Cleaners Inc. of 11244 Waples Mill Rd., Fairfax,
filed for Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 5. The laundry and dry
cleaning company listed liabilities as $1,215,250 and assets as
undetermined.  District of Columbia<Connecticut Connection Ex-
press Inc. of 1101 Connecticut Ave. NW filed for Chapter 11 reor-
ganization Nov. 16. The food service business listed assets as
$100,000 and liabilities as $108,937.

 M & H Auto Sales Inc. of 330 Florida Ave. NE filed for Chapter
11 reorganization Nov. 17. The auto sales company did not list
assets or liabilities.

 Tri Continental Industries Inc. of 1325 Kenilworth Ave. NE filed
for Chapter 11 reorganization Nov. 10. The distributor of
petroleum products listed assets as $3,640,612 and liabilities as
$1,707,429.

 Glasgow Associates LTD, c/o Washington Private Capital LTD, 5335
Wisconsin Ave. NW, filed for Chapter 11 reorganization Nov.  9.
The owner of a retail building listed assets and liabilities each
