Yes, the Democrats will have both the White House and both houses of Congress. There can't be any more excuses for gridlock and bad legislation; those excuses are over. They now have the heavy burden of leadership and delivering on many of their promises. And if they fail, then they are the problem. They are the gridlock. You can't blame George Bush anymore. He won't be around to kick around any more. So no doubt about it, picking up seats in the House - a dozen, maybe a few more before it's over - and maintaining our numbers almost in the Senate, and we will if we pick up the Georgia seat, and we've got a North Dakota race, too - I think it's a victory notwithstanding the election of Governor Clinton... . Obviously we'll cooperate with the new administration if it ad- vances the best interests of our nation. But we'll stand up against bad policy. We'll offer common-sense alternatives on the most important issues confronting America, whether it's health care, the deficit or jobs. So I think you got some good news and some bad news last night about Governor Clinton. The good news is, he's getting a honey- moon in Washington.
