CORRECTIONS=

 The Bravo cable broadcast of "Don Carlo" is tonight; the date
was incorrect in yesterday's Style section.<

Because of computation errors by the National Taxpayers Union, a
chart on congressional pensions yesterday incorrectly estimated
the lifetime benefits due outgoing Reps. Marty Russo (D-Ill.),
Thomas J. Downey (D-N.Y.) and Lindsay Thomas (D-Ga.).

Russo's pension benefits will total about $1.4 million, Downey's
about $1.3 million and Thomas's about $914,000. In addition, most
members, including Russo, will have their pensions reduced by the
amount they receive in Social Security benefits.

Sen. Brock Adams (D-Wash.) was left off the list. His life-<time
pension benefits are estimated at $1.7 million.<

A story Friday on Mexican business practices misidentified a Mex-
ico City lawyer, Ignacio Gomez Palacio.  The lawyer does not
represent businessman Jose Hernandez of Monterrey, as the story
suggested.<

<CLARIFICATION=

A story Saturday quoted South African Foreign Minister Roelof F.
Botha as saying two top Angolan rebel officials had been executed
by government troops. The circumstances of the two men's killings
are disputed, and accounts of the incident cannot be con-
