To all my friends and co-workers at MIT:

Due to health considerations and the lengthy daily commute from Worcester to
Cambridge, I have reached the difficult decision to leave MIT. My last
official day will be April 6, but I will be spending most of my time working
from home. It was, indeed, a difficult decision because I have greatly
enjoyed my time at MIT, short though it was. The best part about working at
IS was the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to work with. I won't
single anyone out, but I think you know who you are, and I thank you for the
opportunity to meet you, work with you, and share laughs with you. I will be
sure to stop by and see those of you who have made a difference in my life,
and made working at MIT so much fun.

I wish you all the very best in your professional and personal efforts and
hope that we can remain in touch despite the fact that I will no longer be at
MIT. You can feel free to e-mail me at dbarrows40@aol.com.

All the best!!

Dan

P.S. Cecilia..I want that hat!
