His Linux results match mine, even though I have kernel 1.2.12 and libc5.0.9 and he has kernel 1.3.37 and libc 5.2.something. Sounds to me like the difficulty is in the port somewhere, unless perhaps Sun's latest JDK code contains a fix that hasn't yet made its way to the Linux port? -T
