Chris Provenzano is allegedly working on SMP support, though the MP hardware
he has is Intel-based.  If time and funding allow, it would be rather extremely
cool to see that work be used in other ports, the sun4m port in particular.
There are an awful lot of sun4m machines out there running _very slowly_ under
SunOS.
