I've found the best V4 distribution to be Cygnus's CNS release.
However obtaining CNS from them is anything but trivial (I think you
need to fax them something to prove you are in the US before you can
find out where to ftp the distribution).  I haven't tried this in a
while.

Another option you have, if you want it, is to get Kerberos V5 from
MIT.  It includes a krb4 library which you can build from the V5
distribution.  So, if you are only looking for V4 libraries, that
might be the way to go.  It compiles nicely (for the most part) on
Solaris 2.4 and 2.5 (it probably works on 2.3 as well).
